CrossRoad Christian Academy students have a strong desire to achieve at every level of academic life. Each year our students join with other schools in Southern California to compete in various activities. Every year CCA students earn a multitude of awards, achievements, and honors.

Below is a sample of honors earned by CCA students in 2008-2009.

Middle School Regional Science Fair
Each spring hundreds of students from ACSI schools all across Southern California compete in the BIOLA University Science Fair. For the second year in a row, all twelve of our regional science fair participants came home with the highest award given, the Blue Ribbon! In addition, all Blue Ribbon winners compete for twelve Gold Medals.  Four CCA students were awarded gold medals for their work! We are thrilled with this recognition of our students, their effort and hard work in the field of science. A special word of thanks to Mr. Anderson for all he does annually to prepare our students for this important event.

Regional Spelling Bee
Four students from each district go on to participate in the Regional Spelling Bee in Pasadena. This year CCA students won 1st place and 4th place for the entire region. We are proud of all of our participants who represented CrossRoad Christian Academy with excellence.

Basketball League Champions
Heartiest congratulations to our 7th and 8th grade Boys’ Basketball team for winning the League Championship this year!  In a hard fought battle against rival Gardena Valley Christian Academy, our boys triumphed. Thank you boys for bringing home this victory for CCA! Thanks also to our long-time volunteer boys’ basketball coach, Rick Dorsey, for all he contributes annually to the CCA basketball program!  We appreciate you, Coach!
