JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN - GRADE 5 2008-2009 LOWER SCHOOL PROGRAM
OVERVIEW CCA lower school endeavors
to educate students in order to prepare them well for the next level. Central
to our purpose is a godly and caring faculty, skilled in implementing a
comprehensive curriculum and instructional program. Our desire is that our
students will grow in mind and heart as they pursue Christ-likeness and
develop a steadfast love for Him that evidences itself in a life of service
to others. All subjects are
taught from a Christian perspective as students are led to the understanding
that in Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge
(Colossians 2:3). As they study, students are given a Biblical framework so
that they can grasp the cohesive nature of Truth across the breadth of the
curriculum. Our campus-wide core values of RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, and
INTEGRITY are taught in all subjects by all teachers. Classes are
heterogeneously grouped emphasizing differentiation of instruction through
whole class settings, small and large group activities, and learning centers.
